Just ran across this very cool site for all of you music lovers.

It's called "Mix Turtle", and it is yet another example of how technology has changed how we listen to music.

It is a free online music search tool, and the list of music available is incredible.

Besides any site that gives me the chance to listen to some my favorite "old school" bands like, "Con Funk Shun", "Mass Production", and my all time favorite, "Heatwave" is cool with me.

When was the last time you rode the "Groove Line"?  :-)

Just think about all of the modern technology that you will be using today.

Cooking and still burning up food on your new modern gas grill.  :-)

Listening to music downloaded on your iPod that you place into your iHome.  So you can listen to all of your "old school" jams!  :-)

Calling or sending text messages to folks on your new iPhone to ask them to bring the stuff you forgot to pick up at the store yesterday. :-)

There are so many more things that will touch your life today as you celebrate this day of our country's Independence.

Just remember that the most important thing you can do today is to enjoy the day with all of your family, friends, and love ones.

HAPPY 4th of JULY!!!

8Track_May 2008.jpgIs it just me, but I don't have a MP-3 player.  Never mind that I am still holding out for the future return of 8-Track Tapes.  There is so much new technology that it almost impossible to include every item or gadget into your daily life.

It seems that MP-3 players are about to "get played" like my beloved 8-Track Tapes.

Kicked to the curb!  :-)
