Looks like the Silicon Valley and California has the name, but not the title.

As many of you know in my other life, I wear a few other hats. I am the host of the, "The PoliticalJones Report with Leroy Jones, Jr." radio show, and also a lobbyist.
So it was a natural progression to start a Podcast on this site. This new show is called, "Talking Technology with Leroy Jones, Jr.", and our goal is to continue, "Making You Aware, and Keeping You Informed".
We will reach out to folks from all over to see how technology is changing how they work, play, and live.
Recently, I had the opportunity sit down with the Program Director of WAMO-FM in Pittsburgh, DJ Boogie. The station is owned by Sheridan Broadcasting Corporation, which also airs my radio show, and they are also a client of my lobbying firm.
Please enjoy the first Podcast, and please feel free to send me any suggestions and ideas for other shows.

On Tuesday, Mozilla released its newly upgraded web browser, Firefox 3.0, but within hours folks had found a breach in the upgrade. Ironically, the problem also affects the now older version, Firefox 2.0.
Folks are working to fix the problem as we speak. For those who use Firefox as your web browser of choice I will paste the repair link as soon as it becomes available.
What do they always say, "If it is not one thing, it's another"!

Our nation's utility companies were left open to web attacks by hackers due to a "security hole" within their operating systems.
Many times people try to exploit these weaknesses for profit or to cause harm. In this case, it seems that no one figured out how to exploit it and the problem was solved.
This is another reminder that even as new technology makes our lives more efficient and safer there are still vulnerabilities within these new products that we all must be aware of.

The technology of getting your money faster, easier, and more conveniently
comes with a price. In these tight economic times every penny counts.

Once again showing the importance of knowing what technology you are using and how it will affect your daily life.

The debate over the possible link between cellphone use and
cancer is back in the news again. The
debate is a serious one, and people are working hard on both sides to find out
the truth. As for me, I have always used
a headset when using cellphones.
For me, the choice to wear one has always been more about
comfort and driving safety. If you use a
headset, what type of headset do you use and why do you choose to use it?
